Skeletal animation

Skeletal Animation, a popular technique in games animation, involves creating the virtual bones, connected in a hierarchical structure and served to determine the motion of the object.

By using this method of animation it is possible to create realistic-looking character animation in games. Animations made ​​in this way can be easily modified and quickly adjusted to a specific game design requirements. It is also possible to use the originally created skeleton for many other characters.

2D skeletal animation tools such as Spine help us bring life to the game and its characters.


Game physics and animation physics involves introduction of the laws of physics (known from the real world) into a game engine. In result, it's possible to emulate realistic behavior of any game objects by correctly accelerating and/or affecting these objects by collisions, gravity and other forces. Being able to control physics from the code is added value and enrich gaming experience.

There are many genres of games that are based solely on the physically realistic interactions. They provide a lot of fun especially on mobile devices (smartphones or tablets) where practically any objects affected by the physics engine can be grabbed. In that purpose we are using proven and more advanced solutions, such as Box2D.

Particle effects

Special effects in games are created with so called “particles”, which significantly enrich overal gaming experience. Thanks to particles this is possible to emulate popular and common for various games visual effects such as flames, explosions, smoke or even rainfall. 

For example, a Pixi.js, 2D rendering engine that uses webGL with canvas fallback, delivers particles rendering mechanism that enrich HTML5 games in visual effects and provides extra "fun factor".

Travel Rush is HTML5 Canvas-based game designed and developed for Opodo, a Pan-European travel service founded by nine European leading airlines, including British Airways, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa and more.

The main idea was to have the whole experience connected with a travel industry to support Opodo's marketing and social media (Facebook) activities.

Player can win a pair of tickets to New York by flying the plane, collecting items and completing levels to earn points. We were responsible for gameplay engine, custom illustrations and integration of CSS/JavaScript/Canvas technologies.


Skytte is classic, fast-paced horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up developed in HTML5/Canvas and Vanilla JS. How do you improve customers shopping experience with the latest in web technologies?

We needed to combine classic "Snake" game concept with Web Sockets and NodeJS technologies to make it happen.

The game allows up to 6 people to play snake on outdoor LED screens in the busy shopping street in Antwerp, using their smartphones or tablets as game controllers.

The synchronization happens through Web Sockets that create an interactive communication session between the user's mobile devices and the NodeJs (Primus, HAPI) server. No apps and no downloads, just the browser and access to the web.

Player with the highest score is awared a voucher (genareted with GraphicsMagick, an image processing system) stored in NeDB, a lightweight Javascript database.


mBlocks is a tetris alike game written entirely in JavaScript using the jQuery library. The game runs in 3 modes: standard, timed. It also features live highscore leaderboard. mBlocks is yet another proof of our advanced coding capabilities.

Kopanito All-Stars Soccer is an award-winning arcade, 2D soccer/football game, inspired by Sensible Soccer, Kick Off and Nintendo World Cup. Entirely built with HTML5 and tons of custom JavaScript.
